While thus property is “”technically” on the lake, there were no lakefront or even lakeview rooms. Our room was SO hot when we arrived, even though the room had been assigned ahead of time. The front desk person was almost rude, certainly not welcoming. The facility, although clean, obviously was “updated” from a Super8, or another chain. There was no breakfast offered. For $164 a night, during the week, after Labor Day but before fall colors, it was disappointing.

Quiet. Good coffee at front. No microwave in the room but there was an area with tables and microwave up front. Room was comfortable and clean.

The property on the lake is beautiful. You can take a nice walk around after a great dinner at the restaurant/bar on the property. Perfect one night stay while doing the Lake Superior Circle Tour

Screens don’t fit large gaps windows don’t close all the way spiders everywhere in side had to stuff Kleenex on window gaps to stop them from coming in they were on cieling and killed some in the bed not good most windows in the place needed screens that fit

Pet friendly, staff is friendly. The hotel is average however the outside by the marina and the views from the walk way are stunning. Quiet. Be aware there is no food options on Sundays except the market which is also limited. Very peaceful.
