We had a wonderful stay at The Moorings. In fact so lovely that we booked in again on our way back from Queenstown. Darren was very welcoming, he gave us some good tips for our travel routes and we had some great chats - a lovely guy. The property itself was very comfortable, well maintained, quiet, clean and had a lovely view of the lake. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Highly recommend!

Property is a little dated, but in a prime location and very walkable to everything in town. The balcony was great and the view was unbeatable.There is a dedicated parking spot for each room and additional parking on the street if needed. The only downside for us was the staff barely acknowledged us at check in or check out and were just very aloof.
