The property was lovely and our stay and Wanaka was great. The only gripe that I have is the office is only open certain hours and when you get there a bit early, there is no opportunity for you to maybe check into your room if it is already clean.

Parking was easy, staff friendly. The 'donation' laundry works well. Our only issue was with the shower/bath which didnt drain properly and my son was showering in someone elses hair that had come up the drain hole. Probably not the motels fault although they did have a note mentioning that the toilet was prone to blockage (presumably if too much is stuffed into the bowel)

Blockout curtains are definitely needed…. We couldn’t sleep as soon as the sun was up it was like daylight inside… it’s a bit far out town if you want to walk. White sheets and towels were nice and soft which is high on my list.
