Beautifully remodeled, with interesting details Hotel Hardware was a delightful stay. The Bobcat bar drinks were top notch and we had a good conversation with the owner/bartender. Dayton’s downtown is pleasant to walk around in, we did the river trail in the morning, a pretty paved walk by the Touchet river.

An upscale hostel style accommodation. Very basic but chic. Comfortable bed. Must set suitcases on floor but plenty of floor space. Light filtering shades so wear sleeping mask if you like it dark to sleep. Great small town!

Very clean, very responsive and such a great place to stay. The contactless check-in is flawless, the property is well maintained and very comfortable and beautiful. The only reason I have a medium grade for amenities is we always miss going to the Bob Cat room because of the limited hours. Also cream and sweetener options next to the coffee would be nice. We definitely recommend to anyone who is staying in the area. Very comfortable bed too!

This property is nice and clean—just the essentials, simplistic. The bed is so comfortable and the surroundings quiet and peaceful. I slept very well. I enjoyed the breakfast cafe, which was right next door, and had a hearty meal of bacon and eggs. Will be back the next time I visit Dayton.

If you’re planning to be in or around Dayton WA this is a great place! Easily the best place to stay in the area. Older refurbished building (tall ceilings) that has been remodeled, but very tastefully done with great reminders of the past. It also reflects the town’s efforts to maintain the long colorful history of the area. The Bobcat bar/cocktail lounge, in the hotel, looks to be wonderful ‘watering hole’ as well. Proprietor, who was the bar keep the night we were there, is very welcoming (check out his book on ‘50-‘70’s NW architecture). We also used the convenient and somewhat fast (89kWh) EV charger (FLO) that’s situated behind the hotel/on the alley by the community “Depot”park.

We were looking for a location close to Walla Walla and state parks (Palouse Falls). Dayton is a nice little city and Hardware Hotel is a great place to stay. Hotel was recently renovated with style. Rooms are large with high ceilings, well-equipped (good bedding and bathroom) and we loved the atmosphere. We received room# and access code in advance. No staff onsite but you still reach out if needed (phone or bar next to the lobby during hours)

We stayed two nights for a birthday celebration trip. Our only issue was my fault because I didn't fully read my email. Check in is fully contactless, so their were details I missed to be able to do that correctly. The owner was gracious and had no problem helping get our room code and other information I had missed. We loved the bar, the drinks were delicious and used fresh herbs grown nearby. There were quite a few locals at the bar both nights, so you know it was good! The location is right in the middle of town so we walked to restaurants, a brewery and the train station museum in just a few minutes. I highly recommend Hotel Hardware if you are looking for a quiet, quaint, quality experience.
