Post and beam throughout, with barn board floors & walls, it is tastefully appointed with period antiques. The open plan design incorporates the living, dining, and kitchen areas. A parlor-style wood stove, french doors, and old store counter kitchen center island help set the scene. The front doors open to a large private terrace and garden. There are 2 bedrooms, a full bath, and a laundry room.

Amazing Property

I can't say enough about this property. It was amazing and was our host, Penny. Her attention to detail to provide such an authentic Maine experience was amazing. Don't compare this to a cabin or hotel that offers some kitchenette features. What you get is a huge FULLY equipped kitchen so if you want to cook meals no limitations and your own private outdoor space This property is excellent for anyone traveling with a dog as the outdoor patio/terrace is fully enclosed and includes a fire pit, all the firewood you need and a gas grille. The location is excellent for exploring all of the peninsulas on the Mid Coast. Penny, the host, is a joy, appropriately helpful with suggestions for exploring the area without being intrusive. And so witty. You won't be disappointed
