I did not want to leave a great review, only because it could be harder to get in next time. The property is amazing. The Koi pond in the lobby, a great little cafe, underground parking, a roof top sitting area with fire tables you can book to make s'mores. The room was excellent and very nicely appointed. The staff was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous weekend stay

A really great hotel, close to the Downtown ( 10mins walk( but in a quiet location. Good carpark ( 2 levels) and very easy to access. Our suite was excellent with a lovely corner balcony. The roof garden is excellent and we had an enjoyable evening at the fire pit with marshmallows ( available from reception)

We really enjoyed her stay here. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. They were sure to inform us that our girls could feed the koi fish at certain hours, which I thought was really thoughtful. My twins did in fact feed the koi fish and really enjoyed it. The grounds were kept immaculate and the room was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend it's also walking distance to a lot of downtown

We had a very nice room and service was great. Everyone friendly. There was not air conditioning available in the room. All worked out well. Very close to town maybe a 15 min walk. We brought our bikes easy riding around the area. Thank you Parkside!

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was clean and cozy. The bed was huge and incredibly soft, with bedding that felt like sleeping on a cloud. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the tea was delicious. Daily cleaning was a big plus. Having two bathrooms was simply perfect. The pool was large and spotless, and the jacuzzi was warm and relaxing. Highly recommend!

The property itself was clean and relaxing. The staff were excellent, helpful and very welcoming!! However we did have a parking issue. We have mobility issues and are limited to how far we can walk. We have a handicap parking sign from the province. Our truck was unable to fit in the underground parking. There was no handicap designated parking at the front door of the hotel. Quite unheard of in this day and age!! We were told to park on the street. However, those parking spaces were reserved. We had to park up the road a bit. Which is fine for someone who isn’t facing breathing issues that limit how far we can walk. It was disappointing that such a fine hotel left us in this position. They really need to consider the needs of people dealing with limits in this area.

I like the location of this hotel and the overall experience of staying there. I gave a 4 star rating because there is no air conditioning. This hotel is quite expensive so I would expect the same level of amenities as a chain hotel plus additonal.
