We only stayed over night. Nice room but some details were lacking. Could not use the large deep bathtub because the drain didn't plug. Couldn't sit for a meal because the chairs didn't fit the table. The trim around the microwave was loose and made it difficult to open. I feel nitpicky but it did make the stay a little disappointing. Staff was lovely though.

The Oswego Hotel was simply outstanding in every way! We arrive at port roughly four hours before check-in and the staff happily took our bags to hold so we could explore and then called us about an hour later to notify us that our room was available early and the bags had already been taken to the room. We then sat outside by the fireplace for dinner at Aegir. It was breezy and we were promptly brought fleece blankets to warm up. These little touches made such a big impact!! The room was flawless and the view from the balcony stunning. After our departure, I realized about two days later that I left a handwoven sweater in the room and was upset because it was one of a kind. I was referred to their housekeeping supervisor who promptly located my sweater!! I arranged for shipment and they saw to the packaging and courier submission, which was so very appreciated. All in all, The Oswego Hotel went above and beyond our expectations and I would certainly choose to stay there again should I return to Victoria. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was our second stay at Oswego and are very happy with the service. Very friendly and accommodating staff at check-in and out. My one complaint would be the bed. Could have been better.

Although it was a great place and really comfortable, I would never stay there again nor would I tell people to go there. I wish I was there one night instead of three simply because the walls were so thin. I was really shocked because it was not a very old building and it was such a nice place. But it really was less than relaxing at times and I was there to relax after a big conference all weekend. I looked into staying someplace else, but I was just so tired that I decided to stay. My dog was with me and she was super sensitive to everyone coming and going cause my room was right in front of the elevator so I learned to ask in the future to be on the top floor and at the corner. When I tried to stay an extra night and switch rooms to the top floor, I was really not given the help that I needed. Instead, I was directed go online to do it myself. when I said I was not happy with how thin the walls were I was asked where I live because we’re in a city. Actually, I live very downtown in a city and I’ve travelled a lot so I just found that to be a poor excuse and quite condescending.
