The Red Lion was an excellent option for me for 3 night stay. I booked a suite with kitchen and full size fridge. I only interacted with staff at chexk in amd checkout and they were very nice. The room was clean amd peovided extra blanket/pillow & a heater. One observation, the walls are paper thin, you can hear someone sneeze in the other room next to you.

We liked the queen studio with kitchenette room. It worked well for us. There were lots of areas to park. We did find there were a few shifty looking people around the exterior of the building and that made us a little uncomfortable.

Our room was comfortable and clean with a nice little kitchenette. Staff were friendly, kind and respectful. The walls are a little thin, so I could hear the neighbors doing their dishes in the morning. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and I will book again.

My mom and I stayed here for 7 days and right from the early check in, it was 5/5 star right to check out! Chris at the front desk was fantastic! All staff were very friendly and kind. We had 2 queen beds, with a kitchenette. It was sooo clean and comfortable. We felt safe in the area also for it is a busy area. The rooms are very soundproof. The rooms look like they are renovated. Beautiful rooms. We just loved staying here and if in Victoria again, this will be our first choice of hotels to stay at again. Thank you for a GREAT 7 day stay!!

This was just a one night stay to attend a concert. Location is convenient, but surrounding area didn’t feel comfortable after dark. Very dated decor, but the room was a good size and clean. Beds were not comfortable, they could use an upgrade. Pillows were not comfortable at all. The worst part was the noise. We were next to a big family group occupying several rooms and they were loud and not considerate. There is no soundproofing (thin walls and gaps around doorway), so you hear everything. Price was reasonable but likely won’t stay again.

I am 65 yr so I have rented a few hotel rooms in my time. The Red Lion is the BEST value for money hotel you can find anywhere. The beds are comfortable and I love the tile floors and tiled bathroom. Everything was in great condition with the room. The staff are the best. I wish Red Lion was a chain so I could stay with them in every city I visit.
