Welcome to Hilltop Retreat — a private, peaceful West Coast stay designed for comfort, relaxation and room to settle in.

Set above a quiet residential cul-de-sac in Langford’s West Shore, this spacious 1,500 sq ft lower-level guest suite offers two bedrooms, flexible sleeping for up to five, a private hot tub, dedicated media room, well-equipped kitchenette and home gym — all with the warmth of a hosted stay while giving you plenty of privacy.

🛁 Your Private Hot Tub

Step onto your covered private patio and unwind in the hot tub, available 24 hours a day throughout your stay. During quiet hours from 10:00 PM–8:00 AM, we simply ask that voices and noise remain low out of consideration for our neighbours.

🎬 Relax & Recharge

Our NHL-inspired media room is made for movie nights, catching the game or putting your feet up after a day exploring Victoria. Enjoy comfortable seating, a large-screen TV and Bose surround sound. The primary bedroom also has its own TV and room-darkening blinds.

🍳 Plenty of Ways to Cook

While there isn’t a conventional stove, the kitchenette is unusually well equipped for a guest suite. You’ll have a Ninja convection oven, Ninja indoor grill, family-size electric griddle, Instant Pot, microwave, rice cooker, hot pot, Keurig, French press and other kitchen essentials.

Outside, the BakerStone outdoor cooking station adds a full-size gas grill, flat-top griddle and stone-lined pizza oven. BBQ tools and a pizza peel are provided.

🐾 Pets Welcome

We’re happy to welcome four-legged guests at Hilltop Retreat. Food and water bowls, a padded dog bed, towel and waste bags can be provided to make travelling with your pet a little easier.

All guest pets — including dogs and cats — should remain leashed whenever outdoors, both for their safety and because our hens may be out enjoying the property too.

👨‍👩‍👧 Room for Families & Small Groups

The suite has one Queen bedroom, one Double/Full bedroom and a pull-out sofa bed in the media room. For groups who prefer separate sleeping spaces, we’re happy to prepare the sofa bed with fresh bedding before arrival at no additional charge.

A travel crib/playpen, high chair, stroller and child-friendly dishes are also available on request.

🌿 A Little Hilltop Life

The larger backyard and gardens are shared with us, and you may occasionally see us tending the gardens, checking the bees or looking after our four hens. Guests who are interested are always welcome to say hello; those who prefer privacy can simply enjoy Hilltop at their own pace.

📍 Convenient West Shore Location

Bear Mountain, lakes, trails, parks, restaurants and everyday conveniences are nearby, while downtown Victoria is approximately 20–25 minutes away by car depending on traffic. Free dedicated parking is available for two standard-size vehicles.

🏡 Private — With Hosts Nearby When You Need Us

We live upstairs and respect your privacy throughout your stay. Your suite, private entrance, covered patio, hot tub and BakerStone outdoor cooking area are exclusively yours.
