Summary:

Tucked away in a quiet suburban neighborhood, this hidden gem offers the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience. Just 15 minutes from Downtown Victoria, Langford, and the airport, it’s an ideal home base for exploring all that Greater Victoria has to offer.



The suite overlooks a seasonal pool 🏊 (open June through August) and leads out to a shared, enclosed backyard — a tranquil space featuring an outdoor kitchen, BBQ, and dining area 🍽️. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy a meal, or soak up the sun.



Surrounded by parks, trails, and close to bus stops, this peaceful retreat invites you to relax and recharge while staying well-connected to the city and nature.



The Space:

A comfortable private suite located on the lower level of a family home. It features two bedrooms with double beds and a pull-out couch in the living room for extra sleeping space. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing — a welcoming space that’s great for both adults and kids.



Guest Access:

The whole bottom floor suite is for guests. The back yard, pool and outdoor kitchen is shared with the home owners. We are often working or busy with non travel life so for most days you will have the backyard to yourself.



The Neighborhood:

Located in a quiet suburban neighborhood, this area is peaceful and family-friendly — where the most common sounds are birds chirping 🐦 and children playing. It’s the perfect setting to relax, enjoy your morning coffee, or explore the nearby parks and trails 🌿.



We live upstairs and are available if you need anything during your stay. The backyard and pool area are shared spaces 🏊‍♂️, and we check in on them daily to ensure everything is clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. You might see us around, but we always respect your space and privacy.



Getting Around:

There is plenty of parking on the road and there are several bus stops within a few minutes walk.



Other Things to Note:

There is no lifeguard on duty, so you swim at your own risk. The pool is an in-ground pool that reaches 14 feet at the deep end — you cannot stand up in it, so it is not suitable for weak swimmers. The pool is shared with us, as we live upstairs.



The pool is open June through August and closed the rest of the year.



Guests are welcome to use any of the pool toys or floaties in the backyard — no need to bring your own!



Interaction with Guests:

We live upstairs and are available anytime we are needed. We check on the pool and the back yard at least once a day so you will see us out and about.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned apartment, which features a fireplace. There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.
Take in the views from a garden and make use of amenities such as barbecue grills.

Excellent property

Beautiful, clean, well-appointed townhome. Not a huge property, but thoughtfully laid out with abundant storage. The kitchen was well-stocked. Located near a light rail station and backing up into a beautiful park. Hot tub was terrific. Kids loved the quirky climbing wall and other kid-friendly appointments. Owner was very responsive.

Convocation 2023

We enjoyed our stay. Short stay and we were disappointed we could not take advantage of the outdoor pool and BBQ/Games/TV area as the weather did not cooperate. It would be a fun place to entertain and relax. It was a quiet neighbourhood but also convenient to the Downtown, shopping and UVic via vehicle. Malisa welcomed us and was available for our needs. We would definitely look the place up again when we are next in Victoria.

I do not recommend this VRBO. Communication with the host was spotty at best and the property was a let down. The bed in spare room was broken. When the host was contacted about the bed, they admitted that they knew it was broken but, had not disclosed this information to us as the renters. TV in the living room would not connect to internet or any type of tv service. Contacted host to inquire and they ignored our question. There was one wash cloth for a family of five. No drying cloths or tea towels to do dishes with. When we arrived to the VRBO windows were wide open with curtains drawn closed. It wasn’t until the second night there that we discovered that the window for the bedroom that my children were sleeping in had been wide open the entire time. Disappointed that the property was not secure from the “get-go.” Neighbors above us were extremely noisey. We were kept up throughout the night by the dog running around the house. We also requested a late checkout and the host didn’t even have the courtesy to respond with a yes or no. Instead they responded with requesting that we be sure to leave them a good review.
