Old-school hotel, but nice new rooms

This hotel is in a good location - though a little loud due to its location on a semi busy street. Though the lobby and hallways look a little old-fashioned the room itself seemed updated and quite nice. I think all the rooms have kitchenettes, which is a convenient touch. Would stay again!

A nice room that was more like a small apartment rather than a hotel room. And it was right across from a nice park. It's obviously not a concrete building so some room noise is the compromise.

We loved our stay at the Helms! Its perfectly located within walking distance of so many things! One direction, the ocean is a few blocks away. Another direction is the Marina/Downtown. Restaurants, groceries, everything you need at a convenient distance. Staff are wonderful, property was lovely!

It’s a great location, walking distance to the waterfront, restaurants, downtown and number of other scenic sights. The staff is courteous and helpful and my room had a stove and frig, which was a bonus. I would recommend staying at Helms Inn!
