This property is so central in Victoria. It is an aged property but super clean and still comfortable. The aircon is small which was bothersome during our stay as it was loud and didn’t really cool the room, the windows do open, but you will hear when someone decides 2am is the appropriate time to do street karaoke. Rooms are clean and spacious

I did not like guitar playing with stereo below my window after midnight the 24-hour desk service if you call never answered. Put you on a record until I went down there and he was on the phone talking with someone. Also, there were no huge mirrors in the room. Bathroom did not contain a sink kitchenette did not have any utilities, dishes or pots of pans. The only good person at that place was the welcoming agent at the desk. When I arrived he was excellent. Otherwise everything else failed. I had to get dressed go downstairs as the phone was not being picked up to complain about the guitar singing singing with the stereo under my window. He offered another room but there was no way we would move all our stuff over to another room as we were only staying there another night. We will bear it

Older building and decor but clean rooms. Location is perfect for walkable downtown sites, shopping and dining out. Only setback is offsite parking. We parked at parkade across from New Balance shoes $17.95 day. You can stay parked overnight but must pay following morning before 9am. Spoke with attendant about this

Location is great, right down town, with amazing Whiskey Bar next door. Building and rooms are old, and not everything was working properly - AC did not work and bathroom fan made loud noise like it was going to break. Hotel is decent for the price and ok for a one night stay, but beware that it is older and you have to park 2 blocks away.

BEWARE BUGS IN THE ROOM I’m not one to leave a negative review but fellow travellers should be aware. Starting off with the positive, the 2 front desk employees we interacted with (Mark and Ron) were kind and attentive. Also the hotel is in a great walkable area. The negatives - substantially-sized stains on the carpeted floor in the room, parking is a couple blocks away, bathroom “door” was a sliding glass door that doesn’t lock, bathroom does not have a fan for ventilation, and there were BUGS in the room. Mercifully we didn’t find any in the beds, but there was definitely a fear we may as they were in both the bedroom and the bathroom. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk, it became clear this is a regular occurrence as we were told of a group chat amongst employees where they share bug complaints (I also saw our room number added to a list of others that likely brought forward bug issues). The hotel was “fully booked” so we were unable to move to a bug-free room. We were told we would be given a discount on our night stay the evening we brought the bug complaint forward. The following morning however, this discount ultimately came in the form of free parking (18 dollar value). Considering we were charged 360 dollars for a single night stay, this is unacceptable. Again, staff were friendly and the location is very central and walkable, we were just disappointed as it felt as though our complaints about the bugs in the room fell on deaf ears.

Convenient and comfortable. But noisy at night from nightlife and traffic. The only problem we had was the parking. No clear direction as to which parkade to use after we paid for the parking.So even though two parkades close to each other were owned by the same company, parking got a $$$ parking fine by parking in the wrong one even though our pass clearly said the parkade owner, we found multiple tickets on our car after one overnight stay.

When i first arrived it was hell trying to find the road to park for a few minutes so we could take our luggage to reception and room. Victoria is becoming so hard to get around with all the one way roads, no left turns, if it werent for my phones gps, never would have found the hotel. Very convienient for walking to places, as the hotel is central . Nice bar next door, nice prices and stock. Staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful with telling us where and how to park. Not sure if i would select this hotel again on purpose just because of the hassles with the streets
