The room was spotless and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was incredible - 3 courses that changed every day and so delicious! It was a 5 star experience with a beautiful presentation. Our room was huge with a fireplace and seating area and a lovely jetted tub for long baths.

Adults only hotel made sense once I realized this older building has no sound proofing. Was able to follow my neighbours conversation at 2am in the morning. This is a character style Tudor apartment building built in 1930 so I understand that adding sound proofing could be a challenge. But if you're looking for accommodation that has a history vibe and is slightly off the beaten track you may love this

Every single thing about this hotel was wonderful! The very friendly staff, the amazing room with it's deep jetted bathtub and ridiculously soft sheets and duvet. The THREE COURSE breakfasts! Where do you get that? Included in the stay! Each day they had a menu you could choose from. Such yummy food! Very walkable location. 10 minute walk to downtown area. Can't wait to stay again!!

The hotel has character and conveniently located but also in a quiet area. The staff are friendly and helpful. The library is lovely. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with three choices for the main course.
