Very nice staff. Easy check-in. Room was quaint. It was very quiet which was great. The room was clean and orderly. It is an old home, but was quite pleasant. This isn’t a criticism, but to let other travelers know, the refrigerator and microwave are in the shared living room area. They are not in the individual rooms. The location of the property was also excellent for sightseeing, and near a variety of restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Take advantage of visiting Duff house for a glass and wine. Be sure to have the complimentary breakfast the next morning there to and take the tour. It’s a short walk from Steele house. It’s delicious, and the tour is amazing. The hostess is so wonderful and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Please take advantage of this little gem and book a night or two here.

This was an amazing experience-beautiful home and room in an historical house. The included breakfast that was hosted in a wonderful mansion several blocks away was incredible, as was the tour afterwards.

The property and room/bathroom were all clean and well kept. Did not realize the breakfast was not on location and didn’t begin until 8:30 am. I had a long day ahead of me and departed at 7:30 am. Would definitely stay here again, if I was spending more time in Vicksburg.

If you’re wondering what it’s like to stay in a house almost 200 years old, this is the perfect solution. The property is decorated in period furniture and really gives you a sense of another period in history. Location is ideal for visiting Vicksburg sites as well. The breakfasts at Duff Green were awesome also.

I loved the decor inside the home. The place really made it feel like our hoke away from home. The breakfast was amazing! The hospitality was also wonderful. We will be back next year. Thanks again for allowing us to stay and being so patient with us!
