Great location and well appointed rooms. But shocked that there was no fitness room at the hotel. I can’t recall a 5 star hotel that lacked any fitness facilities. That was not clear on their website. And they made no effort to provide complimentary access to a nearby fitness facility.

We stayed at NH Hotel Verina for our honeymoon, paying around €450 a night including parking. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the price. At booking we were told that an upgrade would be provided if available, but none was offered at check-in. Later, when we asked to move to a higher floor due to street noise, the only option given was to pay €180 more — which felt inconsistent with the earlier promise. The hotel itself feels quite average, more like a standard NH than a “collection.” The lobby is filled with a very strong, low-quality perfume scent that is overwhelming and caused headaches. For the rate paid, the experience was underwhelming. Acceptable overall, but not memorable or worthy of the premium price — especially for a honeymoon.

Safe and clean location which is central to all sites. Lovely and very helpful staff. Rooms are a bit tired and breakfast is average at best: not what one expects in Italy at a five star. We went out.

The hotel was perfectly located in the middle of everything that we wanted to see. The hotel staff (Giusy was her name if I recall correctly) was very informative and gave us the best restaurant recommendations. The only thing that the hotel was missing was included breakfast. For the price, I think that should have been a given but it was still an Amazing stay in an amazing city! Also, can't forget the young man bartender was so nice and made great drinks.

Very nice hotel, I would stay there again. AC worked very well in August. I wish they would have a pick up service from the train station and back, a five star property should have a complimentary shuttle for their guests.
