WARNING: DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL.

I had confirmed a week prior to our stay at the hotel and received confirmation, the day before and I even called the morning of our reservation to notify of the time we would be arriving, I spoke directly with Rita. I arrived at 10:30 at night with a baby and my two daughters. I called the woman because she wasn’t at the hotel and she said that she didn’t have a room for me and my family. She basically left me and my family stranded after the room was paid in full three weeks prior and I received four separate confirmations that the room was reserved. Essentially she received a direct booking and charged more for it dumping me and my family on the street. After following up with hotels.com she refused to refund my money and charged me for a night I never used. I ended up spending double the money on a hotel 15 minutes outside of the downtown core where I should’ve been located. NEVER BOOK HERE! I wish I had better news because I was really looking forward to the stay and how central it was to everything. It ended up ruining our Verona trip. Rita is not to be trusted. She even misrepresented herself to the hotels.com staff when they followed up on the refund. I have stayed at many hotels and by far this has been the worst experience. We didn’t get checked in to our new hotel until 12:30 AM. Completely unacceptable, she should be ashamed of herself.
