April was so rude. When I checked out and got to my car I noticed I didn’t have my car keys. I went back to the front office and asked April can I go back to the room and get my car keys. SHE LITERALLY SAID NO. I was very confused almost like she was joking but I knew she wasn’t because she has an attitude and uses her facial expressions to get under your skin. I asked a second time… APRIL SAID NO LEAVE. I Left sat on the trunk of vehicle for almost an hour until room service went in the room and I asked her to grab them. Besides the people around there being homeless sleeping by the dumpster and asking you to buy drugs and walking around ALL NIGHT I did find a roach ONLY ONE But still unacceptable. I’ve never been treated or experienced such an experience before. That lady is mentally ill and needs to learn customer service adequate.

I’ve stayed at this site a number of times over the years. I know its not and don’t expect it to be a 5 star experience. I know its an old property. But this visit was really different than all the others. The room stank of something undefinable. There were stains on the walls that seemed as though they were ‘dripping’. The floor had a burn from an iron and there wasn’t an iron supplied with the room. The mattress was extremely uneven. This room was right next to a room that from the hall sounded like an A/c equipment room, but from our room it sounded like a jet powered lawn mower. And to top it off at 6am on a Saturday i woke to the screams of a woman being being in the rooms below. Once a classic and nostalgic property has fallen into disgrace. Its a shame.

LACKING AMENITIES

A few things I was disappointed with. First - no coffee maker. Thank God Dunkin Donuts was right next door. I put the coffee in the refrig. In the morning, the coffee was froze solid. Thank God there was a microwave. Lastly, I was very disappointed in the shower. Evidently two things had fallen off the wall and were never replaced. Also no grab bars and the tub/shower was slippery.

The room we stayed in the bed was very uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a hard floor. The shower didn't drain properly. So youre standing in a flooded tub.
