Most of the time it comes down to the people. Of course the room was fine/clean etc. (I thought the "barn door" was cool;) Nicholas was great - easy check-in, friendly, funny, accommodating (he checked in with me later: attentive but not intrusive). The overall atmosphere and treatment were just what I would want.👍

This was a beautiful hotel and a great location. It was so clean, the staff was great. The only thing was there was no water in our room or water glasses. I’ve never been to a hotel that they didn’t give you water. The next day I asked at the front desk. They said you have to to buy it at their store, but she didn’t tell us that when we checked in. I didn’t know that we didn’t have water until the middle of the night when I woke up thirsty. Plus, I am a Hilton member usually they give us water when we check in. Later I saw somebody get a bag with water and she said she was a Hilton member. I asked staff and they said we aren’t high enough on the test to get water. She knew I wanted it and she didn’t still didn’t offer it thought that was weird. She said it was that particular hotels policy.

This is the finest Hampton Inn we have enjoyed. The lobby was nicely decorated for Christmas, the front desk staff was top notch, the breakfasts were fine, the property is spotless, and the room was very comfortable with plenty of pillows and beds were perfect for restful sleeping. There is a very nice outdoor pool. High five!

Hotel is freshly renovated both inside and outside. Mattress was comfortable and room temperature was good as I like it cold. Bathroom was roomy and had a built-in nightlight. Would have been nice if room came with a bottle of water as the water in Vero Beach is not tasty. Also, the duvet is very warm and not needed for Florida weather; a thin blanket or quilt would be better. I recommend this Hampton Inn and will be back.
