Specciu, meaning 'mirror' in Vernazza dialect and echoed by the decorative mirrors in the bedroom, is a family flat renovated in 2023 on Via San Giovanni Battista, just 10 outdoor steps from Vernazza's main street. 40 sqm, sleeps up to 4.



The Space:

Double bedroom with decorative mirrors, living room with a sofa bed for extra guests and air conditioning (enough to cool the whole flat), full kitchen. One bathroom.



Guest Access:

Just 10 outdoor steps separate the flat from the main street: easy access by Vernazza standards.



The Neighborhood:

Via San Giovanni Battista, a short walk from the main square, the little harbour and the beach right in front of it.



Getting Around:

The train station is a few minutes' walk. Public car park above the village for drivers (about 1,200 metres from the start of the pedestrian area), shuttle and a short walk to our office (about 5 minutes).



Other Things to Note:

Small and medium-sized dogs welcome for a supplement.



We leave a few breakfast basics in the kitchen for your first morning: croissants, biscuits, jam, tea, coffee, portioned powdered milk and sugar, plus our award-winning extra virgin olive oil from a local producer whose mill and honey production can be visited on one of our experiences, salt and washing-up liquid. Bed and bath linen included with shower gel, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. Professional cleaning throughout.



Our concierge office in Vernazza is open 9:30am–7:00pm from 1 March to 31 October; outside this period the office is closed, with presence available on request. We're always happy to welcome guests staying in any of the other villages too, whether for a quick hello or for advice on local experiences and activities.

Very comfy, great location

This sweet compact apartment was perfect for our stay. It was quiet and tucked in the darling narrow stair-covered walking streets, and so close to the plaza with plenty of action. My husband and I and a friend comfortably stayed for a few days, spending all our days and evenings out hiking and exploring. The only thing that was not ideal was that there was very minimal natural light and no views of anything, which may be the case with most places in that type of neighborhood. However, the whole place was clean and organized and stocked with coffee and snacks. The towels were incredibly soft, which I don’t find I don’t find in many places, so that was a treat. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows so we could easily “lounge” and read, have phone calls, etc. when we went back after dinner. The property manager was professional, friendly, and amazing at communicating—and graciously followed through with me on my last minute check-in. Overall, it was a wonderful stay for us, and we’d come back again.
