I have experienced a great state and grand fiesta Americana Veracruz nothing but the best service extremely clean hotel wonderful amenities and most important personalized attention. Highly recommended is very safe. Food is good and is oceanfront property. This is the grand old lady of the Riviera Veracruzana. Spaciously laid out, beautiful materials, rooms with real good-size terraces, great restaurants, and super friendly service. The beach is hard sand like a tidal mud flat, but it is behind a reef, to totally safe for kids. The pool is lagoon style, but still offers an opportunity for early morning swimmers to get some serious exercise (one half-circle between the bridges is a 100 yards). In terms of value for money, it would be difficult to beat, I think. Love this place.
