Great place. Super nice staff was very helpful and the room had a big jetted tub. I liked the little street with access to the beach and a close walk to Santa BuenaVentura state park. Will return. It’s especially a great spot if you run the MTB marathon or Ventura marathons.

My stay here was super last minute and unplanned. The Inn owner and her staff were so accommodating and kind, I felt right at home. They have such warm energy and just overall left me feeling safe and cozy. She even moved my room to the upper level so I could be more comfortable (solo femme traveler). The property itself is well maintained thanks to the maintenance gentleman. He even sat with me on the patio and we shared some stories about life. Overall, it was exactly what I needed. They even gave me free postcards :) 1000/10 will be going back.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a non-smoking room, but upon entering there was a musty smell like someone had smoked in the room. We had to open the windows, which only helped a little. There is no a/c, but they did provide a tower fan. The motel is very close to the beach and allows pets so that's a definite plus. Lots of eateries in the area. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

No AC was inconvenient and the fans need to be bigger. The refrigerator side pockets were broken, so you couldn't use them. A pickle jar must have spilled in the refrigerator and everything I put inside smelled of pickle juice. If you like to camp, and I do, and the above are not major priorities, its location alone makes it worth it. I'd book again.

Charge extra 20$ per day as a resort fee. No special features such as pool spa ect.... rooms were showing lots damage no ac and no hot water for showers. Me and my family will definitely not be staying here again. Would have been better off at motel 6 as staff was not helpful or nice either.

It looks nice and quaint on the surface. There was no air conditioning. In southern California in the summer. What in the world is wrong with these people? Beyond that the floors were dirty and gave me black feet. That means they don't mop. In addition, there were no screens on any of the windows, so sleeping with the windows open means letting the bugs in. The mattress was fairly worn out and had a big sag in the middle. The front desk lady was nice but, I absolutely would not recommend this place.

When we first arrived there was coffee pods in the room but no coffee pot so we had to ask for that and was told she had to hunt one down. Beds were extremely uncomfortable almost felt like air mattresses. The only plus of staying here was how close it was to the beach.
