The staff at the front desk was very friendly when we checked in at 8 PM. However, the room was not ready and we had to wait for 20 minutes for the room to be ready. Then once inside the room we realized how small the beds were. Definitely not twins definitely not queens and as my son put it, princess size. And once my family took showers the room became so humid it was unbearable. The most disturbing thing about the hotel, was the parking situation. You had to find parking in a downtown environment and on a Friday and Saturday night it was extremely difficult to find parking near the hotel. The local area appeared to be very unsafe and in the morning when I went out to go get my car, I encountered an unruly gentleman who is in a full on fight with the clouds. Definitely would not recommend this hotel unless you were staying for one night and it was the only hotel available in the Ventura area.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel. However, bring your own soap because what the hotel provides are tiny, about the size of a silver dollar. Also our bed made popping noises every time we moved, and we were moving a lot, haha. Hope we didn't keep anyone else up.

Despite using the AC, the room was damp, smelled of mold/mildew, there was mold in the shower/tub, it was terrible. Our luggage was 2 lbs heavier going home because everything was damp from just being in the room.

We stay in Ventura often but it was our first time staying here. We absolutely love it ! You can walk to the beach, pier, downtown. Our new favorite spot. The team is also just lovely and so nice ! We will be back in October. The only thing we would change is for it to be dog friendly 😁

Easy located off the freeway & walking distance to food etc The hotel needs a lot of updating & parking is an issue . Homeless living in cars & all around the property. Balcony is enclosed with old wood slates.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property to anybody. Our room was riddled with black mold all throughout the bathroom. I couldn’t figure out what the smell was until the morning time. But after I woke up and entered in daylight, you could see the black mold everywhere. The room is also very filthy. The microwave stained and unkempt. A cigarette butt in the door jam outside. The bed sink in the middle. Just could not rest unfortunately. I would not recommend this place to anybody.
