This is my favorite hotel to stay in Ventura. It overlooks the harbor and you can hear the seals. It is absolutely magical! The breakfast is decent. I feel like it could be a little better but you cannot beat the view

The room we were given was dirty not properly cleaned at all. My partner got bit by something which later we were told by staff that it could have been fleas. The sliding door looked as if it had been broken into which causes us to worry for our safety. After bringing this to staffs attention they were able to move our room to a much nicer side of the hotel. The side they originally placed us seemed and looked like a drug motel.

The hotel was updated and very clean, and the beds were wonderful. We had a view of Ventura Harbor which was beautiful and it was a very quiet setting .The restaurants were very close, about a 10 minute walk along a sidewalk along the harbor directly from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast was excellent. We would absolutely stay here again!

The check in was easy, the staff were friendly and efficient. It was easy to park near our room. The room was very clean and the view overlooking the marina was excellent. The only part I really have to complain about is the lighting in the room was uniformly a glaring cold white hue which made it seem more like a laboratory than a hotel room.

The rates per night. They're outrageous, also, the charges for parking. I requested a receipt when checking out. They said I would not get one until the third party would send it to me. I've stayed there twice in the past. Each time the rates go up higher and higher when there are hotels in the area that are much cheaper. I don't feel I will be staying there again. I am still waiting for my receipt.
