We had a lovely stay at Chequers Inn the staff were very friendly & helpful. The breakfast & evening menus were great & all the food was lovely. The bedroom was large as well as the bathroom the little touches of supplies in the bathroom were great, as was the lovely biscuits & tea supplies in the bedroom.

Excellent stay at the Chequers Inn again for a week for the New Year. Beautiful room, good food, clean, lovely staff - shout out to Angela who went above & beyond for us! Lovely compassionate email sent to us following the very sad death of my Dad whilst we were away. Only downside - the bar closed at 10:30pm on New Years Eve! We will definitely return.

We stayed for two nights and had a fantastic time! The staff were wonderful, the room was good with a lovely view and everything you could need. The breakfast was fantastic , evening meal the same. Really loved it and will definitely be returning! Our first time on the island and had a lovely time. Special shout out to Angela and Adam who were super friendly and accommodating. Thank you !

Really lovely spot for a b&b!!!! Staff were really nice and helpful!! Breakfast was really lovely - particularly as a veggie!!!! What a lovely place! The food was excellent, a very good choice of drinks, the room was really comfortable and the location meant we were no more than a 30 minute drive to any other part of the island. What really sets this place apart, however, is the staff; very friendly and helpful, and we felt genuinely looked after during our entire stay. Thank you!

The pub was lovely, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb and beautifully cooked. We also had a meal and a couple of drinks on the evening we arrived, and I can say that it was the best we'd had for a long time. Totally blew away a lot of the mainland pubs.
