Great location. Hotel is in very quiet street. 5 minute walk from the Rialto bridge and 7 minute walk from San Marco plaza. We stayed four nights in 2 bedrooms suit. Hotel manager Swami was extremely helpful. She also arranged private viewing of glass factory in murano island at no additional cost. We will definitely stay again and also recommend other family members to book it here on their trip to Venice.

Great that we were able to drop bags early to explore the city. Spacious living area and bedroom, kitchen area compact but works, although local shops did not have extra nespresso capsules so take some with you if you like more than 1! Best things are the great location and roof terrace overlooking a canal. Beautiful. There is another bedroom on the mezzanine next to roof terrace, felt a more comfortable bed however the steep stairs down were too risky for middle of the night trips Nothing to fault

The staff was excellent and very professional and friendly. It is very convenient to the sights and streets of Venice. The hidden gem!!! The only thing I would warn people of is that there is no elevator and we were on the very top, which we enjoyed because it had a terrace to enjoy outside. But, if anyone could not do stairs, narrow stairs, be careful. We loved it, thank you:)

The hotel’s online listing was misleading. It showed only one location—right in the city center—and all the photos and descriptions reflected that central spot. However, when we booked a room, we were unexpectedly dropped off in a completely different part of the city. It was not at all what we anticipated, and the experience felt deceptive and disappointing.

The location was convenient and easy to find. Shops and dining options within steps. The room and bathroom were quite small and after three days felt a bit tight. There is not an elevator so there were steps to walk. Staff were helpful in carrying the heavy luggage up and down the four flights of stairs.

Our stay at Palazzo San Luca was disappointing and the room we booked advertised as a deluxe en-suite (Mansardia) was in reality an Attic. It should never be listed as “deluxe”. We were shocked upon arrival. The stairs were very steep, and although the front desk staff kindly helped us with our suitcases, the climb was exhausting. Once inside the room we were speechless the room literally was in the Attic. My girlfriend could not stand up straight, there was almost no usable space, and the so called “balcony”offered nothing but the view of rooftops. The coffee maker and kettle was placed on the floor, adding to the sense that this was not a properly prepared guest space. We paid $773 for two nights to sleep in an attic-completely unacceptable. The staff was wonderful and did their best, but that does not excuse the misleading advertising. Expedia should carefully reassess this property before allowing it to be promoted as Deluxe accommodation.
