Nice place in a fantastic location. Our room had a terrace facing the Grand Canal. Only complaint is the bathroom and shower was very small (but what do you expect from buildings that are hundreds of years old). Would definitely stay there again.

Ran through pouring rain to get to the place and found that it was not staffed. Had to run through more rain to get to their office several blocks away and then told to return at 2pm to check in. Checked in at 2 but was sent back to the first building. AC did not work and room was hot even though it was rainy outside.

Overall, a good place to stay in Venice. It is very close to St. Mark's square and other tourist spots and walkable to all key locations. The Office to collect the Keys is at a different location nearby and you will not have a reception at the Lion Morosini.

We had some trouble finding the check in office, but they allowed us to place our luggage inside our hotel before we walked there. We are in our 70's, so that was helpful! The Lion Morosini is within walking distance of all the beautiful, major sites. And the water taxis for the airport come right up to the alley walkway. The bed was comfy, which is an enormous plus, and the AC worked great! If you have trouble with stairs, ask for a lower floor. We were at the tippy top. :0)

This was the most unique place I have ever stayed, an older converted building right on the canal. Location is extremely close to the Rialto bridge which you can see wonderfully from the nearby dock. Lots of shops, restaurants and a market close by. The building is older, the rooms small but well maintained. Room had coffee maker and mini fridge and AC. To reach the hotel requires walking down a very narrow lane and unlocking a secure gated door which can be unsettling but common for Venice. Be aware there is no elevator.

The location was excellent, very close to the city center. The room wasn’t luxurious, but it was clean, simple, and more than satisfactory. Even though I don’t speak Italian, the staff were extremely kind, and communication was smooth. I felt comfortable and safe throughout my stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience☺️

Balcony was STELLAR - conveniently located right on the Grand Canal. Checking in was tough as you have to walk a maze when you first get to Vnice and aren't familiar with the way things are laid out. A stressful start. But the room was decent with high ceilings and modern bathroom facilities. However, the shower was so small you couldn't help but touch the walls and we are not large people. Also, it owuld be helpful if they provided info on how to get watertaxis. We figured it out though. No elevator, either. But we were in Italy, for heaven sake - it was AWESOME!
