Exceptional Service and a Seamless Stay

Our stay at The St. Regis Venice was absolutely fantastic. From the start, the staff was so helpful and attentive, ensuring that every detail was perfect. We requested connected rooms, and not only did they accommodate this, but they also gave us an amazing upgrade, which was such a pleasant surprise. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the entire hotel had a warm, elegant atmosphere that made us feel instantly at ease. We also arranged a private transfer through the hotel, and it was completely seamless. The third-party company they worked with was excellent—professional, punctual, and exactly the kind of high-quality service you’d expect from a hotel like this. Every interaction with the staff was lovely, and you could tell they genuinely cared about making our stay special. From the smooth logistics to the little thoughtful touches, everything added up to an amazing experience. This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the St. Regis for 6 nights in July for our second time. It fully lived up to our high expectations, and the hospitality/service was even better than the last time. This is THE best place to stay in Venice, and the location is unbeatable. I was disappointed in the hotel facilities. I thought this was going to be our favorite hotel. We paid the most for the rooms and wanted it to be a great experience. However, it just wasn't. We just felt like the service was not up to par and the rooms were insufficient. The bathrooms were uncomfortable and we could mot walk past our bed without hitting the tv. While we were in our terrible room, the ceiling began to leak and flooded the floor. A repairman was sent to fix it while we were in the room. We asked to be moved and the hotel did comply and gave us a nice gift. The restaurant at the hotel was very nice on the water but when my son showed up in flip flops, we were initially turned away. Overall, I felt like the facility was old and dated, took tol long for checkin and rooms were small and uncomfortable. Location was good, but likely would not pay that price again for the same experience.

The pluses: A beautiful property with a more modern, art deco feel. The patio by the water has a lovely view, and bed very comfortable. Great art and creative interior design. The challenges: Because there are so many people checking in and out at the same time in a smaller space, it feels crowded and hectic. I emailed butler service multiple times before arrival and only one response. Our room would not cool down at night. In the lobby restroom, they had ran out of drying towels and lotion. No milk or cream for coffee in the room. Many service people felt like they were in a hurry. One piece of luggage was not delivered to our room. After multiple calls, went downstairs 4 hours later and was told, “Yes, we have it. So sorry, we forgot to bring it up.” This was not the luxury experience that I expected.
