Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was spacious. Quiet location, walkable to gandolas, water taxis, shopping, the piazza and dining. **Breakfast is not free and is somewhat pricey. However, the fresh juice options and options were very palatable. Wait staff was very attentive.

We had a lovely stay here. The location is great, accessible by water taxi or on foot. We could easily walk to San Marco Square and Rialtto bridge. Some great restaurants right around this hotel. Breakfast wasn’t that great though unless you’re just getting pastries. The eggs and bacon weren’t appetizing. There also are no hooks in the bathroom and our shower didn’t have a door so there was nothing to hang towels or robes from. I feel like that’s an easy upgrade the hotel can make. They do have a boat service to Murano with a small tour but you need to make sure you’re up early for it. I had asked the front desk about it the night before and they said just whenever you come down, we’ll call and they’ll take you. We came down around 10:30 that morning and they said “oh they left already, left at 9 with another group. You’re too late, you should have come down earlier.” My issue was that no one told us what time to come down when I directly asked and no one called to our room to say hey it’s 9am today, do you want to go? Of course you can just walk to the water bus station but it was disappointing. The best part was by far the bartender during our stay. He was so knowledgeable and helpful and kind. He made our fantastic.

The doorman/bartender was really annoying. He kept trying to make a reservation at a restaurant. And when I asked about the gondola, he said it as 170 because it included a bottle of alcohol. I told him I didn’t want the alcohol. Then he was upset the whole entire time. We bought something at the bar, and after I finished, he said only cash!!! What???? At a hotel bar only cash??? He made me feel uncomfortable/
