The check in/out staff and valet services were superb. It was my first time staying at the Douglas. The room was nice and clean. Was terribly disappointed with the noise level from the lounge and lots of noise in the hallway at 3am, with people yelling and banging on other people’s doors.

Every space feels curated, calm, and quietly luxurious. What truly sets The Douglas apart, though, is the staff. Every single interaction — from the concierge to the front desk — was warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Nothing felt transactional. Questions were met with enthusiasm, requests were handled effortlessly, and there was a real sense that the team takes pride in creating an exceptional guest experience.
