I had a lovely room on the 20th floor with spectacular views. The Village hot spots are all within walking distance. The front desk could use two people on instead of one - especially at check-out time. A patron with an attitude problem tied up the line unnecessarily while the queue backed up behind her.

The staff were very helpful, storing our bags until we could check in. The room was clean and well equipped, really liked the suite. Was great to be able to buy groceries and cook in the room to save some money on food. Grocery stores, bakeries, and restaurants all around the hotel made it super convenient.

I found this website to be misleading. When I booked a suite with this hotel, I was unaware that it was currently undergoing renovations. I was under the impression that I had booked a newly renovated suite and instead we were put into a very outdated suite. The cleanliness And smell of the room was questionable. There were many things that were broken such as the closet doors and intake return vents, the tubs had chips, wallpaper was peeling, and our hideaway bed was also broken so we ended up having to switch rooms. When we did switch rooms, we were given another older suite Where the floors were sticky. The corridors and elevators smelled strong of marijuana. As a VIP member, I was given a bottle of wine and that was it. As for the location, it is well placed with many amenities and close to beaches and Granville Island, which was nice. But I would rate the overall stay Poor due to the state of the rooms and the price you pay for them. That alone was not worth it.

Room was great! Didn’t like getting hassled to pay over the phone as I was travelling down because the hotel was full. As I confirmed my booking, it said pay at property. Also was double charged after all that too. The gentleman over the phone was happy to refund it and was super quick. But was a pain. But the hotel itself is super nice! This was my second time staying. I did have a better experience the first time. Thanks

We enjoyed being walking distance to stanley park and English Bay and Granville island. Hotel room was 2nd floor and great views of the ocean and city. Would stay again if wanting to be in the west end.

It looks like the building is currently undergoing some work and it really needs it. It needs refreshing of the carpets in the halls, they look old and dirty. There is also some inconsistency in room service, the first days we had everything we needed and the room was properly clean, later that changed, we had no coffee, no kleenex, one day the room wasn't cleaned.
