The first impression came from the front desk staff — they were completely expressionless, not even a smile, which made me feel very not welcome. There was no bottled drinking water or slippers provided in the room.

I have stayed at this property several times, and at Sandman’s elsewhere, before but not recently. When I booked through Expedia I received a nice welcoming communication saying they were looking forward to my stay (nice touch) and they provided a link to sign up for their RSVP Program for loyalty benefits. So I did immediately. However, when I checked in and asked if my number was showing they said no and said because I booked through Expedia I didn’t qualify for credits (ad touc). The room was okay but it wouldn’t cool down below 21.5 so after several efforts by maintenance I finally had to get a fan in. They do have a great pool spa area which I remembered rom previous visits. I am not sure if I will stay at this “Signature” property again.
