Magical Forest Cottage — a private 15-acre forest manor in Uxbridge, just over an hour from Toronto.

THE SPACE
6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 19 beds — sleeps up to 25 guests overnight. King master bedrooms, family bunk rooms with murphy beds, and a dining room that seats 18. Perfect for family reunions, retreats, celebrations and corporate off-sites.

EVENTS
Events and gatherings of up to 40 guests are welcome by prior arrangement. Every attendee is charged: overnight guests at the overnight rate, day guests at a per-person rate. Quiet hours 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM — no loud music, karaoke or outdoor activities during quiet hours, out of respect for our neighbours. Built for celebrations — a banquet-ready hall, disco KTV room and games room make the manor a favourite for weddings, birthdays and family reunions.

OPTIONAL ADD-ON — OUTDOOR BARREL SAUNA
Our mobile barrel sauna seats 8–10 guests and is delivered and set up at the cottage for your stay: $200 per day, minimum 2 days. It is not kept on site, so please request it in your booking message and we will arrange delivery before you arrive.

THE AREA: The estate sits in the forests of the Oak Ridges Moraine near Goodwood, with riverside walks close by and the trail networks of Durham Regional Forest and the Trail Hub just minutes away. Downtown Uxbridge — shops, restaurants and cafés — is only a 5-minute drive, and Wooden Sticks Golf Club and Skyloft Ski Resort are nearby. A private country escape, about an hour from Toronto.

GOOD TO KNOW
• Check-in from 4:00 PM (smart-lock self check-in; your door code is sent after booking); check-out by 10:00 AM
• Parking for approx. 40 vehicles on site
• Pets are welcome with prior approval (pet fee applies; leash outdoors; no pets on beds or furniture; please clean up after your pet)
• For everyone's safety the property has 24-hour exterior security cameras (entry gate, driveway, garage exterior, backyard and perimeter). There are no cameras inside the home.
• Please remove outdoor shoes at the entrance
• Firewood is not provided — please bring your own for the fireplaces and firepit
• Close to Wooden Sticks Golf Club, Skyloft Ski Resort, Durham Regional Forest trails and downtown Uxbridge

Check-out instructions

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Sort garbage into garbage/recycling/food waste and take it all out. Put used towels in the washing machine.
Turn off all lights, TVs and appliances. Close and lock all doors and windows.
Return any moved furniture to its original place. Clean the BBQ if used.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Host is watching on camera all the time calling you all the time for every small things Washrooms has no handle on the inside to open the door once in No television on the property after listing says tv on the property.No privacy as host keep calling you ,language barrier can’t communicate
