Come enjoy the sights, sounds and serenity of our fantastic getaway home nestled in a cedar forest on top of a water fall! Our Cottage at Firefly Falls has a great room with cathedral ceilings and massive stone fireplace, gracious cook’s kitchen, 1.5 baths, open loft for sleeping, and deck overlooking the waterfall. In combination, Firefly Cottage and Friefly Retreat make for a great option for gathering with others. We have keyless entry and security cameras overseeing entries and fiber optic broadband service. Our home provides a perfect getaway for artists, writers, nature lovers, sled heads, or for family gatherings (together with our Retreat), romantic getaways, and friends weekends.

One of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at….the pictures don’t do it justice! Waking up every morning and sitting outside with a cup of coffee in front of your own waterfall was absolutely incredible. The hosts were very nice and accommodating as well. 5 stars.

This is like staying at your best friend's house where they have tried to anticipate your every need. The creekside, wooded location can't be beat and is only 20 minutes from Colgate University. Wish it had another private bedroom but we were quite comfortable.

As a guest it is difficult to leave the Cottage. You want to stay longer. While there you become part of it and immerse yourself in the beauty, tranquility, and design throughout, including the handblown sconces, cornice details, wood corbels, and of course the sound of the rushing falls. Your mind and soul become one; you are transported into a magical state of being, not wanting to return to reality. Robin made all this happen with her vision. Her attention to detail, willingness to share and go beyond expectations made it possible to experience the Cottage in a beautiful, personal way. Thank you for your hospitality, responsiveness to all questions (no matter how mundane) and your generosity. Robin is an amazing host who has left nothing to want in her well stocked incredible home.
