The bungalow style rooms were fantastic. My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed the amenities and setting of the hotel. The room, actually a spacious canvas hut, was quite comfortable, quiet, clean and beautifully surrounded by jungle vegetation. My only complaint was that the outdoor shower had no hot water, and I didn't really like going out to the outdoor toilet at night. Also, the included breakfast was great, the resort had a small but nice beach area and pool. They do need to upgrade their kitchen cuisine. For the price expected a better dinner menu.

Ambiance was amazing, consistent with my last stay at Our Habitas Bacalar… a true eco luxury experience. Fun seeing a coati on site in the early AM! Staff was also amazing: Giovanna at the spa plus some of the best massages I’ve had from Christiana, Edmeda, Elda and Pady. Our wait staff, Armando and Francisco were so kind and lovely also. Breakfast is always such a delight. Keep expanding!
