Casa Ikal • Beachfront Villa in Sian Ka’an, Tulum

Casa Ikal is a beachfront sanctuary within the UNESCO-protected Sian Ka’an Biosphere, where architecture and nature exist in quiet harmony. Designed by Diego de Yturbe, the villa opens to the Caribbean Sea on one side and the lagoon’s ancient Mayan canals on the other.

With four ocean-view bedrooms, a private pool, and a full-service team, Casa Ikal is for guests seeking privacy, connection, and calm—just beyond Tulum’s lively hotel strip, yet worlds away from it all.

• Casa Ikal is located within the UNESCO-protected Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, known for its pristine landscapes and limited development. Expect unpaved roads and longer travel times, particularly during the rainy season.

• A daily entrance fee of $12 USD per person is required by the biosphere authorities and must be paid in cash at the entrance arch.

• Due to conservation policies, external ATVs, fishing, and amplified music are not permitted inside the reserve.

• The villa’s beachfront connects directly to a protected coral reef, ideal for swimming and snorkeling but free of motorized water sports.

• Casa Ikal operates primarily on solar power, supporting the region’s commitment to sustainability.

• Your Private Villas Mexico concierge handles every detail of your stay—from airport transfers and pre-arrival planning to meal coordination, excursions, and on-site support, ensuring a seamless experience in this remote setting.
Make yourself comfortable in your air-conditioned villa, which features a refrigerator. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected.
Take in the views from a garden.
Guests will find features like internet access and onsite parking.
