Room’s outdated, with door blocking toilet or shower. Gym didn’t have water cooler filled, and was missing dumbbells. Had to pay to park in a parking lot. Stayed at a try, home2 also. They were fresh, updated, and still trying to figure out the need for a bench and a chaise lounge in a room that adorned TucsonEast. Will book at other hotel next time I travel thru for business.

This reservation was supposed to be…no hidden charges. Everything was paid for upfront. However, overnight I noticed a charge on my card. When I asked about it when checking out I was told it was an overnight parking charge. No one advised me that there would be a parking charge when I checked in. They handed me a small blue paper to put on my dash as most hotels do. The desk man told me the charge was listed on that paper. When I examined it there was indeed a charge listed but it was at the bottom of a few lines of text printed in a very tiny, thin type. This was intentionally, very deceptive. In addition, this hotel is nowhere near the downtown and there was nothing around this hotel to indicate that neighbors were encroaching on this massive lot. There was absolutely no justification in this hotel for charging for parking. The hotel could easily have put the charge more prominently on their dash card. It was deliberate deception. And Expedia deceived me by selling me a fully paid for reservation that was NOT fully paid for. When I mentioned to the desk man that no one told me there was a charge he said, “that was too bad, they should have.’ When I said this was really unfair, he just shrugged his shoulders. So although the hotel was nice, their practices are corrupt.

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Housekeeping attention to detail could be improved. Forgot to put new ice bucket liner in. I do not know why they do not put the waste basket liner in; they just leave it lying on the edge of the waste basket in the bathroom. Hair conditioner was out and had to ask for more. Had to request housekeeping, since they skipped my room after two days. Front staff was very friendly and responsive though.
