Très bien dans l'ensemble! Belle grande chambre de luxe. Des passerelles pour se promener dans l'hôtel, pas besoin de sortir dehors. Bons buffets pour déjeuner. Seul point négatif, les matelas un peu trop durs et les ventilateurs de salle de bains qui font un bruit épouvantable.

Last year when we stayed at Hotel Montfort we gave a higher rating. We had a room in the newer area. This time we had a room in the old part of the hotel. The room was okay at best. Clean and comfortable beds. But the carpet was old and stained. The bathroom was updated but so small that when you sat on the toilet the toilet tissue was knocked of the holder. The shower was in a small deep bathtub. The temperature controls did not work and the room was quite hot. Lovely common areas. I recommend staying here if you can get a room in the newer section.

A beautiful site and lovely hotel. LOVE that the hotel is dog-friendly! My only small complaint is the amount of noise from the wedding that lasted most of the night. Understandable but maybe not at 2am? But otherwise a perfect stay. Gorgeous grounds. We hope to return!

Needs new air con

Nice looking hotel from the outside and a lovely setting. However inside it is a bit dated and could do with some maintenance to bring it back to grandeur. Corridors felt dark and gloomy and it was quite a maze to find reception and room. Pool is small and again a little tired. On arrival tasked if we wanted dinner which we replied yes - then told the restaurant was shut. Would have been good to be told in pre communication as the hotel is not walking distance to anything else. Garden room was nice with doors leading outside. Patio was unswept. The air con was noisy like an aircraft taking off, had to turn it off for any chance of sleep. Was then v hot. The fridge was just as noisy and had to be turned off too. Was asked to give a precise time if we wanted breakfast so didn’t bother.

We loved this hotel and property! Lovely, clean and spacious. Our room was comfortable and quiet and my family loved the pool. I did like that there was a restaurant on site but we got stuck in traffic and missed the restaurant's dining hours for dinner; the only option was a sandwiches from a grocery store in the small town nearby. Breakfast was also an additional charge - so we opted to stop on our way out of town. It was a lovely hotel and I would definitely stay again, but for a spa weekend, not a family trip. Recommended!

This is such a unique and beautiful hotel. So much character to the property and the hotel. Plus they’ve got an amazing rooftop hot tub. We just stumbled across this place in our search. Will definitely be coming back.
