For those who are seeking to escape the stressful daily grind, this cozy studio style cabin is just for you. from the moment you enter the private two-track located across from our friendly neighbors house at 10480 S. This charming little cabin features a full kitchen, handmade furniture, accents, and a plush king sized bed. The pristine bathroom boasts clean and easy to use amenities, including a sliding glass walk-in shower. From the living room area, there is a modest closed in porch that features the beautiful wooded scenery and a quaint bistro set where you can enjoy a bottle of complimentary Leelanau County wine. The cabin is in a convenient location near many activities, restaurants, and beaches. The TART trail is located approximately 1/2 mile from the cabins location, with both Traverse City and Suttons Bay in close proximity. The nearest local winery is a short 2 minute drive north, deeper into Leelanau Peninsula wine country. Whether you desire comfortable solitude while remaining in the cabin or prefer exploration of the unique sites and activities that the area has to offer it is all up to you. We are making way for two more beautiful cabins for you to choose from. All three cabins will be secluded from one another and tucked into a quiet part of our woods. Perfect to come enjoy the serene beauty with friends, or alone. Construction will not disturb the existing cabin, but you may see a few vehicles down the road passing during the day. It is all so exciting for us and we hope for all our future guests!!!

    A Winter Wonderland

My girlfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary in Traverse City. Both of us knew that this was the place we wanted to stay. Neither of us were disappointed. Terry and Beth were amazing hosts and they even introduced us to their lovely farm animals. They made sure we were comfortable and had all the amenities that we needed. What an amazing, secluded weekend it was. We'll make sure to stay here again when we're in the area. Highly recommend!

    Refreshed & Renewed !!

We booked this northern oasis last October for our annual President’s Weekend to Traverse City not knowing our month of January would be a overwhelmingly stressful and emotional one. God certainly planned for us to be at this “Wonder in the Woods” to be refreshed and ready to return to the normalcies of life. The cabin, accommodations, and personal pampering extras were above exceptional! The hosts were accessible and certainly did everything to make our stay perfect. We really cannot think of a single thing that would have made the cabin and our stay any better.

    Beautiful, cozy cabin!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Terry and Beth's charming and well-stocked cabin for a long winter weekend. The fireplace is easy-on with a switch but still provides real flames which helps add to the ambiance and warmth without fuss. I'm a wood-fire gal, but this was way better as we would have run out of wood so fast. The kitchen is well stocked as is the bathroom. The big king bed was very comfortable with 4 nice large pillows of a couple of different styles. Terry and Beth were fantastic hosts - when we arrived a bit late in the day, the snow had piled up but they came right to our aid and got the beautiful wooded drive plowed - they had it plowed in the mornings before we headed out (we had 9 inches of snow during the day we arrived). They were eager to make our stay special, and made themselves available if we had any requests or questions. AND they let us use their snowshoes on the trails behind the cabin on their property - so much fun. My husband also linked up our netflix/hulu to their tv to watch while we did puzzles with a glass of wine by the fire. We look forward to the next time we can come stay here, it'll be first on our list!

    Simply incredible!

This beautiful cabin was nestled away in the most idyllic setting -- it was totally off the grid, yet still close to down Traverse City. For anyone looking for a romantic night or weekend away, this is the place for you! We couldn't have been happier with the hospitality, location, thoughtful amenities and stunning decor.
