Decent hotel for the area.

The hotel is nice, staff is great and the breakfast was decent. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable and some of the towels weren’t the cleanest. Overall would stay here again.

The mattress was horrible with a huge dent in the middle causing a terrible nights sleep. The cleaner they used for the entire hotel left a strong not pleasant scent. Not sure if they were covering up something or just did not know any better.

LOOK ELSEWHERE

This just confirmed that I will never stay at a Country Inn again. Cleanliness should be a ZERO. It reeked of cigarettes, the bathroom was disgusting. Our sheets we NOT clean and I was on the lookout for bugs all night. Was a very dirty/grimy atmosphere. Unfortunately it was the only place remotely close to Bellaire so we had to settle and pay a RIDICULOUS amount of money for the night, still I wish we had paid double to stay elsewhere.

Great pool/ hot tub and breakfast

We stayed as a family. The breakfast options were good. Several cereals, waffles, breads muffins yogurt, eggs,sausage, juice coffee and tea. They do need a sign by the waffle maker alarm did not work on one. Pool and hot tub were nice and big! The hot tub could have been a degree or two hotter but it was warm! I did notice the lampshades in the roomand bathroom and lobby all need dusting/ cleaning. The grout on the bathroom floor in 121 needs to be deep cleaned and replaced. It looked dirty but its just old. The bed and room were overal comfortable quiet and clean. I would stay again. Coffee , tea and cookies in the lobby really were welcoming after a long drive!

Love the full breakfast. Cookies in afternoon. Helpful staff. We stayed 4 nights. Linens changed every 3rd night. Seemed maybe they could change ours after 2 nights or keep linens on for all 4 nights with a discount for not having them changed for one more night then having to do it again after we leave. All staff very helpful,cleanliness was very good.

Not worth the exorbitant price

The room itself was passable. Clean bed but the mattress was soft & lumpy. I’m guessing it was pretty old. Bathroom was fine. Breakfast typical of hotel breakfasts - edible but nothing special. The worst part was that I asked specifically for a nonsmoking room. Mine REEKED of old cigarette smoke. I called to complain but the desk guy said I was in a nonsmoking room. I couldn’t change - so I was glad to get out as early as possible.
