Check in was very quick and easy. Front desk staff Paul was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean, lots of hot water for the shower. The bed was a little firm for me. We always bring our own pillows, but the room pillows did seem to be firm and lumpy. Breakfast was good. Lots of hot coffee. The hot tub was good. The pool was a bit on cool side for me. The pool area was noisy with children having fun and people talking, which was fine. Then a group of adults connected a phone to a speaker. I was able to soak in the hot tub for about 10 minutes, but the music was so loud, on top of children having fun and people trying to talking over the music that I left and went back to our room. Way to noisy for me. Over all our stay was good, but I thought cost was pricey for a one night stay.

Hot tub and pool were decent, and adults only after 10pm to midnight is a nice plus. There was a girls soccer team in town so quite busy, but quiet in the evening, even with our room being right next to the pool. Nice fenced patio with furniture to hang outside in the evening. Too bad someone broke one of the fence walls down, either with force or by vehicle... Breakfast Buffet was great, make your own waffles, scrambled and omelette egg varieties, sausage, hash browns, toast, bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt. You have the option of milk, juice or coffee. They also have a small private store setup for soda and energy drinks. Nice king suite with pullout sofa bed. We were there for a few days so we moved the couch in front of the bed to be better accessible to watch TV. Great location just 10 minutes south of downtown Traverse City. Will be back again in the spring.

Smells like brussel sprouts and water damage..

We stayed on the 2nd floor and towards our side of the hallway it smelled like steamed Brussel sprouts or some sort of water damage had happened. In our room the bottom of the cabinet had water damage, and the ceiling in the bathroom had what appeared to be mold spores growing. Our room appeared to be missing a section of curtain as there was a huge gap between the curtain and window where we can see the parking lot lights while trying to sleep. Our room also smelled strange to where we had to buy room fresheners. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Overall it was mediocre for the amount of money we paid for 2 nights. My group overall agreed we would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again when we return to Traverse.

morning breakfast is horrible, no milk, sausage batty was greasy and hard bumps in them, eggs were water, we couldn't eat it. Yogurts were gone, Were were there for a hockey tournament. And there was no fruit, we find places to stay for her to eat before going to a hockey game... then there isn't anything for her to eat.
