Early check-in and late checkout are limited, not guaranteed, and must be approved in writing. Approved early check-in or late checkout is $25 per hour, with a standard maximum of two hours.

The primary reservation holder must be at least 21 years old and must remain at the property throughout the reservation.

Laurel Valley Mountain Retreat is 100% pet-free.

Iris Spring is located on the second floor of The Lodge and is accessible only by stairs. The three-story building does not have an elevator and is not wheelchair accessible.

The property is not childproofed and includes stairs, elevation changes, outdoor walking areas, water features, natural terrain, wildlife, and shared retreat spaces. Guests are responsible for determining whether the accommodation is appropriate for their party and for supervising minors at all times.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Only registered guests are permitted on the property. Parties, events, gatherings, commercial filming, and unauthorized visitors are prohibited.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited indoors.

The property operates on a septic system. Do not flush wipes, diapers, feminine products, paper towels, food waste, or other foreign materials.

Mountain stays come with natural character. Guests may occasionally hear building sounds, neighboring guests, wildlife, insects, or weather-related noise. Seasonal insects, including ladybugs, may enter the building. Wildlife, including black bears, may also be seen in the area. Never approach or feed wildlife, and keep all food properly secured.

Wi-Fi and cellular service may vary due to the mountain location.

Before secure property access details are released, the primary reservation holder must complete LVMR’s required pre-arrival check-in through the LVMR Guest Hub.

For Vrbo reservations, this includes guest registration, rental agreement acceptance, identity verification where permitted by Vrbo policy, and completion of the required damage-protection selection.

Guests choose one of two damage-protection options:

• Nonrefundable accidental damage waiver
• Refundable security authorization hold

Guests are not charged for both. The refundable option is a temporary authorization hold, not a completed charge.

Secure access details are released only after all required pre-arrival steps are complete.

Laurel Valley Mountain Retreat is located within a gated community. Guests arriving or returning during overnight gate-closure hours must follow the after-hours gate-access instructions provided for their stay.

Security cameras operate 24/7 in common areas throughout all three floors of The Lodge and in exterior areas throughout Laurel Valley Mountain Retreat. No cameras are located inside private guest accommodations or bathrooms.
