The location of RivetStays – The York was convenient and one of the few positives of our stay. Unfortunately, the unit itself was not comfortable for four people. The space was too small, and the sleeping arrangements were poor. The mattresses were very firm, and the couch mattress was not suitable for sleeping at all. Adding to the frustration, an alarm went off in the complex at 7 AM, which disrupted our rest and even caused one guest to experience elevated blood pressure. While the location was good, the overall experience did not match the price paid

The building is nice and the apartment was ok but definitely felt a lack of comfort. No facecloths, no dishes. Bathroom light didn’t work. It had a few pots and pan’s but not really any cooking utensils. Everything felt very basic and no real thought put into it.

I stayed at RivetStays for a short getaway and had a great experience. The check-in process was smooth once I received the instructions, and the Keycafe system made it easy to access the unit. The suite was clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. I loved having a full kitchen so I could cook my own meals. The location is amazing — right downtown and close to everything. The check in was slightly stressful as the instructions did not include parking. Once in the room we noticed the bedding had not been change and was in fact in the dryer of the unit. The agent was contacted, and I was instructed to just change them. There was hair and stains all over the mattress and cover. Upon leaving the unit to go to dinner, myself and my partner were stuff on the 35th floor elevator. We were stuck for over an hour , before being rescued by fire fighters. The building staff were it helpful when dealing with the elevator incident.
