Although we had a wonderful view of the city from our suite, the bathroom tub was clogged badly (not touching that) as well as the soap dispenser was caked and there wasn't much body wash or shampoo left for us to use. The rest of the suite was clean enough. We weren't sure how to enter our suite as we hadn't received the information until I called the number provided. Since this is also a private apartment block, the men at the lobby desk were of no help and just told us to call the number. Thankfuly the lady who answered the phone was kind and helpful but it would have been nice to receive the info beforehand or to have someone on site.

The place wasn't too bad- slightly dirty with dirty walls. Lots of homelessness outside and they provide a number that supposedly replies "24/7" but if you had an inquiry and sent the number a message they would not reply but they replied right away when I was instructed to send a picture of the key when checking out. Pretty unclear with instructions and no direct answer when we inquired about early check in and the security guard was incredibly rude. This was the only place we could find during TIFF but will not be coming back.

The apartment itself was beautiful and as advertised. But my experience was a nightmare. I arrived at the apartment in the early evening, and there was no power. I called the help desk and was told it would be fixed within the next 10 minutes. 3 hours and 5 calls to the help desk later the issue was still not resolved and I demanded a refund. At that point, the management company moved me to another suite in an entirely different building in a different part of town. I was finally in a functioning suite at 10pm. What should have been a productive evening preparing for a job interview the next day was made uncomfortable and stressful because management was unable to offer a fix to the problem in a reasonable timeframe.

The unit was disappointing. Although the bed was comfortable and the bedding clean and cozy, the wear and tear in the unit made it feel dirty and rundown. In addition to the overall wear and tear, the bathroom fan doesn’t work, there was no facecloth, and the sliding glass door didn’t lock.

Overall we had a great stay at the RS Suites Eaton Centre. The room looked different than what I selected online but it had a bed and a couch so I was fine with it. The place was clean, fresh towels and blankets. The walls showed some wear and tear from suitcases. The balcony was unkept, lots of bird poop. The elevators were busy but quick as we were on the 6th floor. Very quiet I did not hear any other unit noise, just noise from the street! Easy check in and check out. Communicated with host via WhatsApp, could be a problem for people not very good with technology. I liked the location close to the Eaton Centre 5min walk! Some hopeless people and tents around close to the location but this did not affect our stay! For the price in Toronto on a busy weekend it was worth it!

The apartment was ok, just a regular short-term rental with simple and worn-out furniture. About cleanliness — we tried to do some laundry, but found some apparel left in the washer and dryer, which was not good. Communication was not the best. We received links for payments and document upload only a few hours before check-in, and we didn’t get the check-in instructions or codes until we called their help line. As for parking, they sent a link with nearby parking lots, but there is a better and cheaper option — underground public parking in the building itself, with direct access to the elevators, where you can pay via mobile app or link. Not sure why they didn’t mention this to us. The location is good, close to downtown, and it feels reasonably safe, but there are a lot of homeless people around.

Property is in a great location and was very clean. However check in was horrible. Arranged to check in 30 mins early key was not in a lock box and took them 30 mins to bring it down. Communication in regards to that needs to be better.

Some others called this property a scam, but I think it’s more of a catfish. This is a serviced apartment not a hotel. Pros: cheaper than most hotels, decent location, had a tv, was quiet, sheets were clean. Cons: seems to get a surface clean, but never has had a deep clean, so it’s quite dusty, including on the roof. The fan in the bathroom was broken, the property is more run down than the pictures, can’t use the pool in the pictures. The woman on the phone was quite rude to me, but the other worker via WhatsApp was polite, the room was smaller than advertised. It was fine, but I wouldn’t stay again. I’d stay again if the property was properly cleaned and the broken things were fixed.

Was on phone forever and the person helping me left the conversation and left me talking to myself and essentially left me stranded in another country. Had to book another hotel asap w Expedia and their agents helped me get out of booking w RS. Will never again deal with off shore property management companies after this!

The property was walking distance to a subway station. The apartment was nice, but pedestrian traffic in the building was substantial, and the elevators are noticeably slow (I stayed on one of the higher floors and sometimes had to wait minutes for an elevator to arrive). There didn't seem to be many nice dining options within a 10 minute walk of the apartment building, but there were some within 15-20 minutes.
