The room was clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed the view of the skytree from my hotel window. Also went to the breakfast buffet on the top floor restaurant and very much enjoyed the view of the skytree and city! Great staff as well!

Quiet, clean and comfortable for a short stay. Standard twin rooms are small but very tidy. As other guests have mentioned, the overall experience doesn’t quite align with what you might expect from a four‑star hotel, particularly in terms of room size, layout and certain amenities. For example, guests staying only one night are charged 50 yen for bottled water, although there is a lobby water station available for refills. We didn’t try the free sake happy hour or the late‑night ramen service - both sounded fun, but after a long and tiring trip, two complimentary bottles of water in the room would have felt like a more thoughtful gesture than having to head back down to the lobby. The breakfast buffet, however, was lovely, with beautiful views over Asakusa. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is at a very accessible location close to Ueno Station, and the entrance to Naka-Okachimachi Station is literally within 15m of the hotel's entrance, so your choices in commuting around using the train network are numerous. Our room was very spacious and clean and worth the small price for the upgrade. The staff were also extremely polite and helpful, especially when speaking English. Overall, I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again, considering the ease of access to the train stations in the surrounding areas, the ability to walk to Ameyoko market street for the food, and a slower pace of life compared to the busier areas like Shinjuku and Shibuya.

the breakfast buffet was excellent and had a good selection of eastern and western options. Although, it can be crowded at opening. As for the room, the bed was too hard for my partner who is no used to eastern-style beds. The hotel staff provided some fluffy blankets which slightly helped. Also, be aware some of the hotel staff has a hard time communicating in English.

The location is excellent—close to Ueno Station, Ameyoko Market, and lots of food options. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The only downside was the bathroom had a sewer-like smell, which was disappointing. Aside from that, it was a convenient place to stay.

Hotel is very nice in terms of locality, cleanliness, easy access to station. Staffs were really helpful and friendly. Would be nice if they have more laundry machines and generous to have water dispenser at each floor. Missed free ramen at the restaurant, will try next time.
