This hotel is ideally placed for exploring the Ueno area of Tokyo and well linked to get you to wherever you want to be. Good sized rooms, fairly good breakfast and an excellent 14th floor evening free Ramen & Sake bar! What really makes it special though is the staff, who cannot do enough for you and always have a welcoming smile!

Staff are very helpful and would go beyond to help you out. The place is also very close to the station and about 8 mins from Ameyoko market. Overall we had a comfortable stay. I highly recommend the place if you stay in Ueno.

This hotel is perfectly located in a quiet place near okachimachi and ueno stations. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are quite large by tokio standards Only one caveat: bed pillows are terrible, small and hard. Not up to the hotel level.

Absolutely loved our stay at hotel MONday Premium Ueno Okachimachi ! The room was surprisingly spacious for Tokyo — we were even able to fully open three suitcases comfortably, which is quite rare. The view directly towards the Tokyo Skytree was beautiful, especially at night. The location was also very convenient with a 7-Eleven right across the street. Every time we entered the hotel, we were greeted kindly by the staff, and we really appreciated being allowed to leave our luggage in the lounge before check-in. Overall, a very pleasant stay and we would definitely recommend this hotel!

My room was both spotless and surprisingly large, in comparison to some of the other hotels in Japan I’ve stayed at. The staff were extremely helpful and made me feel at welcome from the moment I stepped inside! I will definitely consider refuting here for any future stays in the Uneo area!
