Beautiful location with a view, large room, beautiful view and access to trails and the ocean. So relaxing! The check in process was nice for convenience and ease, but on the other hand, I did not love the check in process with nobody to speak to in person about issues etc, especially after a certain time in the evening nobody to speak to like your typical accommodation/ hotel, that being said it didn't hinder our stay; we had the best time and would return!

We stayed in the lodge, the rooms were large with an incredibly comfortable bed. The balcony and view from the room were the highlight. If you are looking to disconnect and enjoy nature, I highly recommend staying here.

What a lovely place! I am so thankful we booked for a few nights rather than just one, this was our favourite stop on our trip by far! Our port-side cedar cabin was so adorable! We felt totally safe and it was so quiet and tranquil. Check-in and check-out were easy and straightforward. Thank you for our lovely stay, we will be back!

The view from our lodge room was unbelievable. The stars at night through the sky lights were an added surprise! We accessed the nearby hikes Lighthouse Trail and the Wild Pacific Trail which was incredible at both sunrise and sunset. Despite the gorgeous design elements, I did find the interior quite cold and echoey, and I think the rooms would benefit from artwork or wall decor to feel more cozy. We stayed in lodge suite 26 and there was a enclosed pillar outside the room that hummed continuously, which impacted the tranquility of this place. Maybe that room would benefit from a layout change since I could hear that hum from bed and not further in the suite. We could hear the waves crashing and sea lions barking in the distant from the balcony. We also saw plenty of birds including bald eagles from the balcony in the morning. Some of the surrounding rooms left their balcony lights on which created light pollution. Maybe overtime the property can make alterations to lessen the impact of the design by having those lights auto shut off. I did not encounter any staff, they sent a lot of information to read prior to arrival which started to feel redundant and excessive. Self check in was easy and more info was provided. This felt very impersonal and I would have loved to meet a local at check in and have someone to ask for food or activity recommendations. I would stay here again but I hope the overall coldness improves.
