If you like retro, you wanna stay here just for the decor. It’s totally awesome. Bed was super comfortable. Lighting in the room was ingenious and well designed. Parking was super easy.Just a great all-around stay.

The hotel has a nice setting and some good features, but there are areas that could be improved to make the stay more comfortable. Garbage around the property wasn’t always picked up promptly, and the lounge was only available if you purchased food or drinks from the restaurants, which felt limiting at times. Some rooms didn’t have air conditioning, and the water station at the entrance wasn’t consistently refilled. The firepit was only lit if you asked, and coffee wasn’t automatically provided in the rooms, though staff were helpful once you requested it. For the price of the rooms, the value just doesn’t quite match what you receive. With some extra attention to these details, the overall experience could feel much more worthwhile.

Poor water pressure, awful furniture in the room and a wooden bed base too big for the mattress so I walked into it a number of times and ended up with a bleeding leg at 2am on my way back from the bathroom. I expected a much better quality room at $800 per night. Staff were great but room was a total disappointment. And $20 for a glass of house white??? Will not recommend to anyone.

Overall, the coolest hotel we have stayed in. The vibes were very retro. The room was a nice size and the shower is amazing! No air condtioning in the room so we had to ask for another fan. The biggest disappointment was when we booked the hotel back in April, I messaged the hotel for a non pet room as I have allergies. When we arrived, we were informed that our room was not completely pet free and they did a deep clean of our room. The sauna and hot tub in nature was amazing and the inlet in the back of the hotel was perfect for paddleboarding. Hubby did surf lesson from Swell on the property and Ollie and Lynnae were amazing! Would stay again but communication with hotel could be better.

Hotel Zed is a super fun/funky place right in Tofino. Lots of amenities on sight make for a perfect stay. You dont have to leave the property (but do because tofino is awesome)
