We absolutely loved our stay here at the Blackbear Guest House. So close to the beach and the property itself was quiet, peaceful and so beautiful. We even saw some bears off the back deck.

We’ve stayed several times and there’s certainly a reason we keep coming back! The location is fantastic, a quick five minute walk to Chestermans beach, and it’s has everything you could possibly need to have a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Awesome apartment, beautiful and spacious for a small group or family, so perfectly situated for everything to do and see in Tofino, and the Sound on one side and the beach on the other are just wonderful. The hosts are so lovely, really will only stay there next trips!

We loved sitting at the end if the wooden walkway to view the inlet. When it rained, watching the water rise was a beautifulsight! The area was clean, inviting, and cozy. Clear instructions, along with recommended eateries, were readily available. The provided binoculars came in handy on our very last evening! We watched a black bear meander around on the other side of the inlet, eating everything it could find.

The property was in a beautiful setting, surrounded by trees and near the ocean. We walked to the beach in less than 10 mins. The suite was cozy, clean and everything we hoped for. We loved our stay!

The black bear guest house in the cedar suite was amazing. We loved every minute of it. There was an amazing view of the ocean and the thoughtful, little touches that were added as a compliment of staying with Black Bear made our stay more than we could have imagined. Thank you so much for everything. The Tofino specialty chocolates were a nice touch and the bikes that you allow your guests to ride while they are staying at your place made our time an amazing adventure. We will be visiting again. Cedar suite was private and romantic. Best stay ever! Thanks again!
