Rooms are very basic and a bit dated, and after my first margarita with sweet and sour mix, I decided not to eat at the restaurant fearing the worst. Very private location. Staff was amazing, very attentive! They felt like friends after our stay. Would definitely stay again. We stayed in Dome #11 which was great, air conditioning was super efficient and effective too. Had breakfast at Na Ha both mornings, also great.

Beautiful hotel with villas and a great swimming pool/bar as well as lagoon for kayaking right to the ocean beach. We had a king room with private hot tub on the patio and our own private enclosed yard with hammock and table. The location is quiet and a little bit of a drive from centre of town but we preferred that.

Beautiful, quiet property. We stayed in the king dome and it was very peaceful hearing the birds and waves crashing at night. You can take kayaks out to the beach. The restaurant was good but on the expensive side. You drive down a long dirt road ~10 min to get to the hotel, so I’d recommend renting an SUV.

Our stay at La Poza exceeded our expectations. The grounds are amazing!! the staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating!! The facilities were excellent!! We are already planning our return!! One suggestion, rent a car. The roads in and out are very challenging. Be sure the GPS on your phone works as navigating without would be very difficult.
