We received very detailed and helpful information directly from the resort before our arrival, allowing us to check in after hours without any problems. This was a no frills hotel but there was a sitting area in lobby, a guest kitchen with a few tables where you can enjoy coffee and plan your day. There is a small gift shop/snack shop which we utilized a few times during our stay. The rooms were kept cool with the air conditioning system which was critical! Pool area was refreshing in the evenings.

Ticaboo is a small, out in the middle of no where place. They provide a clean room and comfortable beds. They have coffee and the ability to microwave or even cook your own food. They also own the grill at north shore marina which has some pretty good fast food. It is very quiet and peaceful at Ticaboo.
