Our room was just clean as clean could be. The scenery was beautiful as the sun glistened over the lake was located outside our window-you just sit on the lawn chairs on your porch-very peaceful and relaxing. Only thing that was a disapointment was the the restaraunt was not open for business yet.

The room was fine. However, it would have been nice to know the restaurant was not yet open for the season. The website lauded the restaurant and noted being open year-round. The billboards on the roads also praised the restaurant. Disappointed as that is one of the reasons for choosing this location over others.

This motel went beyond what they needed to do - they were great. Upgrade from Queen to King bed, upgrade for internet when needed. Fantastic. And as always, gorgeous view of Lake Huron.

Room was clean but very old. Bed was terrible to sleep on. Bathroom updated but sink not properly attached and wobbled if leaned on it. I know this was not terribly expensive but I choose this because I had stayed here in the early 1980’s and it was really nice. Not impressed this time. Will not be back

Great location by the water and close to gas/food/highway. The room seemed clean but the fact that someone's stale pizza was sitting in the fridge was not encouraging. Poor lighting didn't help confidence either. Plus the bathroom fan clanked away something terrible.

Though I had prepaid through Expedia (and momentarily forgot), the very unfriendly person at the desk tried to charge me again by taking my credit card. The place looks good from outside but one of the two rooms had a broken bed, and other issues... Advise you to never book or plan to stay at this place!!!

Beautiful location with a beautiful view but just feels like there is very little upkeep. Broken mirror in the bathroom, fan in the bathroom sounded like it was going to take off. Some of the lights didn’t work. Toilet roll holder barely hanging on the wall. It’s not a bad spot but just needs some love. Beautiful beach on the shore of Huron.
